The deadly first

This is the dreaded first post of the new blog. I'd like to keep this one (and hopefully the hundreds of riviting and inspirational posts to follow) away from the things that most people may find objectionable and have a more professional place to display my work and ideas.

So, to begin:
I have just finished reading a book by Armistead Maupin called Tales of the City. It was a completely different experience than I expected but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are actually 7 books in the whole series which document the lives of the residents of 28 Barbary Lane in 1970's San Francisco. Naturally it was just my style.
